Regarding the Wizard of Oz – have you actually read the books?
I’ve heard that there are those who rave that Baum’s work is wonderful, and while the movie has it’s place, as usual the books are a million times better.
I’ve also heard that some people think that you only love them if you read them when you were young, that coming into them as an adult doesn’t have quite the same impact as reading them at a younger age.
In any case, I plan to get the Complete Book of Oz for my Kindle and check them out. At $10 for the whole set, I figure I can’t go too wrong.
