Rudi and I had a lovely date night tonight, complete with a movie (Reign Over Me), dinner (two slices and Cokes), and a moonlit walk.
Because of that, you’re just going to have to rely on my friend Michael for today’s creativity. Michael is a talented and offbeat playwright, and he’s now turned his attention to the computer screen.
I share with you his latest work, “Don’t Be a Stranger,” complete with your favorite French existentialists. (As a heads-up, a knowledge of French isn’t necessary, but it does make the film funnier.)
If you enjoyed what you saw, Michael welcomes feedback and accolades at his film’s YouTube site.
HEy! That was OUR date! Though we had naan and pakora instead of slices. What did you think of Reign Over me? I’m still undecided – it was great, but I’m still depressed.I can see the ending was meant to be headed toward better things and that anything more would have been too fast, but I don’t know. Stiil sad.
Though maybe that’s because not being able to get M&Ms at the theater is too depressing on its own!
