My dog used to like bananas and tomatoes. And The cat I had as a child LOVED ‘chee-chees’ – those cheese puff snack thingies that are like Cheetos except fluffier (I really can’t remember what they’re actually called) – you’d call ‘Bandit! Chee-chees! And he’d come running flat out 🙂

And one of our other dogs adored popcorn balls!

When I lived in Montreal I had a cat that loved fresh veggies. I’d come home from the green market and wash the lettuce/toms/etc. and would later find them carried off to parts unknown and enjoyed by the cat.

Sneakers was a huge fan of cantelope.

Jemmy was not keen on very much in this world, but she did like cheese.

We have yet to discover what non-catfoods Duke and Kady prefer. We’ve offered cheeses, which they accept but don’t go crazy over. Milk is met without enthusiasm. The only thing we’ve gotten Duke excited about is the fish-flavored treats our old neighbors brought us back from someplace they went on vacation. Kady doesn’t much care for those, but she does like it if you make the regular kibble move about so she can hunt it.

Okay…I thought they liked some strange foods, but I think Cal must be a bit sick…she likes turnip!!!!! Oh my…………..
