It’s been ages since we’ve had a random ten on Wednesday post. So long that I’ve decided to do it today on Tuesday instead. It has nothing to do with a disinterest in writing a book review from the piles dwarfing my desk or the need still to wash dishes, take out the trash, and finish a book before I go to bed. Nothing, I’m telling you.
Anyway, you know the rules: Hit shuffle on your portable music device, computer music library, or cd changer, and list the first ten songs that come up. No editing to get a better or more representative list.
This is from iTunes on my computer.
- “Love Will Come To You,” Indigo Girls
- “Rip It Up,” Little Richard
- “Hey Conductor,” Dave Carter & Tracy Grammer
- “Come Take a Ride in My Airship,” Natalie Merchant
- “Apti,” Rudresh Mahanthappa’s Indo-Pak Coalition

- “Let’s Rock,” Chrisette Michele
- “Carol of the Bells,” Straight No Chaser
