As all good sock knitters know, October means one thing: Socktoberfest has arrived!

My goals this year are immense: I’d love to finish off six pairs of socks.

However, I am not crazy.

Work will remain crazy until our site relaunches in three weeks.

I have a long weekend to Connecticut planned.

I have other projects I want to knit…

But it’s Socktoberfest! So I will say that I will finish at least two pairs — a new pair and one that’s already in progress.

That doesn’t seem unreasonable at all, does it? (Even more so when you consider the fact that I have at least ten projects that are partway done, and six of those have only one sock left to go.)
