We’ve enjoyed the May’s Masterpiece Theatre Mystery series, Wallander, starring Kenneth Branaugh. The haunting theme music, I discovered on Ravelry, is “Nostalgia,” written and performed by Emily Barker. See if you don’t agree:

Thank you so much for the info and the videos! I loved watching them. I went searching to find more, and she’s from Australia. We missed the last Wallander, but hope to catch a repeat in a couple weeks. What a good, good dramatization. I look forward to the books. The landscape played such a strong part, I felt.

I was a little worried after the first one that it would just be too dark a series for me, but I’m pleased that I stuck with it and look forward to future adaptations (and to reading the books).
