Three beautiful things from the past week:
1. “In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit.”
2. “Jeeves Saves the Cow-Creamer” — Sometimes you just need a little Wodehouse, as performed by Fry and Laurie.
3. I finish listening to the final chapter of The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde with CraftLit. Heather has introduced me to literature that I wouldn’t otherwise have tried, such as the Stevenson and Frankenstein, that I’ve quite enjoyed hearing.
Oh funny – I’ve been reading Jekyll and Hyde online when I have nothing to do at InfoPoint. ‘d never read it before and am enjoying it!
Comment by jenn 05.01.09 @ 5:29 amI haven’t read about Bertie in a long time! I should check in on him.
Comment by Emily 05.01.09 @ 8:11 pmI was just swinging by to remind you that you’ve been doing this for nearly FOUR years now. Congratulations, and I’m so pleased to see you’re still at it.
3BT is just coming up to its fifth birthday on May 18.
Amazing how the time flies, isn’t it.
Comment by Clare 05.02.09 @ 2:46 pm“The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde” is one of the things I read on my kindle. Also “Frankenstein” – there were times when I would be just about to put Frankenstein down as too tedious and boring, and then suddenly Shelly would reel me back in.
