The final Top Ten Tuesday topic of 2022 at That Artsy Reader Girl asks us to share the newest additions to our bookshelves. I don’t know that I can come up with the ten most recent precisely, because sometimes I pick up books from Little Free Libraries and forget to note them down, but these all came to live with me in the past six months:
- Any Way the Wind Blows by Rainbow Rowell
- Scattered Showers by Rainbow Rowell
- On Writing by Stephen King
- Count Your Lucky Stars by Alexandria Bellefleur
- Blanca & Roja by Anna-Marie McLemore
- Lark and Kasim Start a Revolution by Kacen Callender
- Gaudy Night by Dorothy L. Sayers
- Rosie’s Traveling Tea Shoppe by Rebecca Raisin
- The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
- The Chilbury Ladies’ Choir by Jennifer Ryan
How about you? What are some of the latest additions to your bookshelves? Have any arrived in the last week?
Any Way the Wind Blows was great. I can’t wait to try Scattered Showers.

Comment by Hamlette (Rachel) 12.27.22 @ 11:12 amOf those ten, I have read #3, #7, and #9, and I’m interested to hear what you think of them. My most recent acquisitions include, as you know, a whole slew of books from the Top 100 Children’s Book List (I’m currently on “Harriet the Spy,” which is the only one I’ve disliked thus far). Also, “A Face Like Glass” by Frances Hardinge and “In the House upon the Dirt Between the Lake and the Woods” by Matt Bell.
