Today’s Top Ten Tuesday topic at That Artsy Reader Girl is one near to my heart: books published last year that I was excited about, but didn’t get to for one reason or another. There are dozens of those, but here are ten of the key ones:
- Murder on Cold Street by Sherry Thomas
- Constant Rabbit by Jasper Fforde
- Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell
- Recipe for Persuasion by Sonali Dev
- Jo & Laurie by Margaret Stohl & Melissa de la Cruz
- Aurora Burning by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristof
- Check, Please! Book 2 by Ngozi Ukazu
- Clap When You Land by Elizabeth Acevedo
- A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik
- A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow by Laura Taylor Namey
The particularly disappointing part about this list is just how many authors on it are ones I love.
How about you? Were there 2020 releases you put on your must-read list that you still have yet to tackle?
I’m pretty sure I’d enjoy Clap When You Land because I loved the author’s second book a lot.
Comment by Deb Nance at Readerbuzz 01.19.21 @ 6:10 amYou know I’m all about non fiction! I read a few good non fiction last year. You know, Death in the grand Canyon and the like. I have podcasts I still need to catch up on. ๐
Comment by kathy b 01.19.21 @ 9:20 pmI’m currently listening to the audiobook of Murder on Cold Street and it’s quickly becoming a favorite. ๐
